The Research Shop is not for profit.
Fees charged for services are to help defray the costs incurred for making these capabilities and services available on-campus.
The capacities of the Professional and the Design shop are limited for the volume of projects, jobs, and repairs we service.
We understand that experiments and research schedules often are dependent on parts and assemblies coming out of the shops, and because of this, we do make our best effort to work with all researchers to accommodate their time constraints.
